Biography of Professor Larry DeLaney
I am currently employed at Jasper as the school counselor.
I received my Ed. S. from Pittsburg State University.
I have taught a variety of English and Sciences courses both at the High School level and the Junior College Level.
I have taught at the following colleges either off campus or during the summer months: Pittsburg State University, Hutchinson Community College, Independence Community College, Fort Scott Community College and Wentworth Junior College.
I have been in law enforcement as a second job since 1989 serving either as a county officer or as a police officer. I have also served at different times as the Chief of Police in two separate cities. I have written numerous grants for several hundred thousands of dollars in this career.
